HRD Practitioner Development

We offer Occupational Directed Education Training and Development Practice (ODETDP) at NQF levels 4 and 5 – ETDP SETA accredited qualifications.

National Certificate NQF 4

This certificate is aimed at Education Training and Development Skills Developers who are currently positioned in or who are wanting to begin their career in the Education Training and Development arena. It provides the required (knowledge, skills and abilities) to engage in general Education Training and Development activities within the workplace.

 

After having completed this certificate, you will be able to:

 

  • Prepare and facilitate learning
  • Provide learner support
  • Carry out the administration related to training
  • Contribute to Human Resource Management practices
  • Conduct outcomes based assessment

Entry Level Requirements:

National Certificate NQF 5

This National Certificate at level 5 is aimed at Education Training and Development Practitioners who are currently positioned in or who are wanting to progress into the Supervision of Education Training and Development arena.

It provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to engage in general Education Training and Development supervision activities within the workplace.

 

After having completed this National Certificate, you will be able to:

  • Facilitate a Situational Needs Analysis
  • Successfully design an Instructional Classroom based learning program for your organisation – and link it to social media learning
  • Conduct training / facilitation sessions to a group of learners in the workplace
  • Successfully evaluate training and learning in the workplace

  • People progressing through their career journey in Organisational Development (HRD, HRM)

 

Entry Level Requirements:

 

  • 2 years of workplace experience
  • The successful completion of the National Certificate: OD ETDP level 4 (50332) with a minimum of 120 credits.
National Diploma Level 5

This Diploma is aimed at Education Training and Development Practitioners who are currently positioned in or who are wanting to progress into the management of Education Training and Development arena. It provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to engage in general Education Training and Development management activities within the workplace.

 

After having completed this National Diploma, you will be able to:

  • Provide quality management of learning and development in the workplace
  • Create a plan to implement a learning culture (measure where it was unsuccessful)
  • Design a learning and development plan for their company
  • Build and sustain engaging teams
  • Handle conflict and convert it to success
  • Understand the information and technology requirements in learning, as well as how to implement and measure the platforms
  • Achieve projects in all aspects: strategy, needs, costs, time, and resources.
  • Apply Learning & Development in the workplace
